James Hahn was born November 2nd, 1981 in Seoul, South Korea. He attended the University of California-Berkeley where he played golf and studied American Studies in 2003. This is the same year he turned Pro right after his graduation. He is 6 ft 1 in in height and weights 180 pounds and currently resides in Alameda, California. He has achieved a total of three professional wins and his favorite golf course is Punta Mita Golf Course in Mexico.
Before joining the Nationwide Tour in 2010, Hahn has previously been part of the Canadian Tour, Gateway Tour and Korean Tour. After recording five top-ten finishes, he received 29th place on the Tour’s money list in his rookie season. In June of 2012 he achieved his first win while on Tour at the Rex Hospital Open. There after he traveled to California to participate in a golf game that qualified him to take part in the U.S. Open. He ended up winning and then played his first major at the U.S. Open in 2012.
Some of the PGA Tournaments Hahn has participated in in 2013 consist of THE PLAYERS Championship, the Wells Fargo Championship, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, RBC Heritage and the Valero Texas Open. He also participated in the Waste Management Phoenix Open where he finished in sixteenth place with a score of -14, the Humana Challenge in partnership with the Clinton Foundation where he took fourth place with a score of -24 and the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-AM where he took third place with a score of -14.
