Brandt Snedeker was born December 8th, 1980 in Nashville, Tennessee. He attended Vanderbilt University where he graduated in 2003 with a degree in Communications. Also within this year he won the U.S. Amateur Public Links. He then turned Pro in 2004, when he was 24 years old, after being introduced to the game by his grandmother who worked at a golf course in Missouri. Today, he is 6 ft, 1 in tall, weights 185 pounds and resides in Nashville with his wife, Mandy and their two children Lily and Austin. He is 24th in the official world ranking and second in Money Leaders on the PGA Tour. Snedeker’s corporate partners include Mastercard, Adidas, Marquis Jet, Wyndham Worldwide and Bridgestone Golf.
Brandt has been very successful in his years of participating in golf. His friends voted him Rookie of the year in 2007 and he earned $2.8 million for that year, the largest amount of money ever made by a rookie. In 2007 he received six top-ten finishes and a victory at The Wyndham Championships. He achieved five top-ten finishes in 2008, five top-ten finishes the first half of the year in 2009 and top-ten three times the second half, a runner-up finish at the Farmer’s Insurance Open in 2010, seven top-ten finishes in 2011 and four top-ten finishes in 2013. At the British Open this year he was successful in accomplishing a record breaking T-3rd by scoring 130 on a 36-hole record. He has had 4 top finishes out of 10 so far this year and received his second PGA Tour victory when he beat the number one ranked golf player Luke Donald at The Heritage.
